You love the moment a complex analysis clicks into something a customer can act on and you want that moment to matter. As a Sales Engineer at Eddy Grid, you sit right at the intersection of data, technology, and commercial impact. You help customers understand what's really happening with their energy — their consumption patterns, the potential in their assets, and what our algorithms can unlock for them. You turn technical depth into clear, compelling business cases that move deals forward. The energy transition needs companies like Eddy Grid to grow fast and earn trust with real evidence. You're a big part of how that happens.

What will you do?

  • Analyse customer consumption data and technical asset profiles to identify optimisation potential

  • Build business cases and customer proposals — specific, substantiated, and commercially sharp

  • Present analyses, models, and algorithm outputs to customers in a way that builds confidence and drives decisions

  • Lead the technical track of the sales process, handling detailed questions on integrations, data flows, and performance expectations

  • Collaborate with the development team to translate customer feedback into product improvements

  • Develop reusable templates and tools that help the commercial team scale their technical conversations

Job requirements

  • You are a dutch native or have fluency in dutch to be able to communicate effectively with our clients.

  • You have a technical or analytical background, you're comfortable working with data and drawing clear conclusions from it

  • You listen carefully to customers and translate what you hear into concrete technical solutions and recommendations

  • You explain complex concepts in plain language and can read the room, you know what level of detail each audience needs

  • You work pragmatically and in small steps: no situation feels too big because you break it down and move forward

  • You have experience in a technical, pre-sales, or data-analytical role, energy sector experience is a bonus, not a requirement

  • You work independently, communicate proactively, and keep things moving without needing a lot of hand-holding
