Developer with Trading Experience

At Eddy Grid, you will have the opportunity to develop innovative trading solutions and directly impact the energy transition — together with a dedicated team in Delft and on Fridays in Utrecht.

We are looking for a Developer with specialized experience in trading strategies, preferably within the energy market, to develop and implement innovative trading solutions at Eddy Grid. You will work closely with our development team, primarily based in Delft. We embrace hybrid working but value collaboration in the office; the whole team comes together in Utrecht on Fridays.

What will you do?

● Design and implement advanced trading strategies to enhance market performance and efficiency

● Collaborate with analysts and developers to refine trading models and methodologies

● Explore and integrate new market opportunities to maximize battery profitability

Who are you?

● Pragmatic mindset and strong problem-solving skills

● Ability to abstract and simplify complex problems; willing to challenge the status quo

● Independent work attitude with a business-oriented and critical mindset.

● Proficient in Python, SQL, Django, and Git

● Familiarity with the energy sector is a plus

● Excellent command of English, both oral and written

● Demonstrable experience with trading strategies, preferably in the energy sector

● Strong analytical skills with a business focus
