Project Lead Energy Markets

Do you want to play a key role in the energy transition and ensure that new market products and market roles are qualified as quickly as possible? Are you someone who brings structure, monitors progress, and does not let go until things are arranged? Then we are looking for you.

About the role

As Project Lead Energy Markets, you are responsible for coordinating, accelerating, and successfully completing qualification processes for new market products (such as FCR and aFRR), market roles (such as BRP), and/or marketplaces.

You work with internal teams, such as Legal, Development, Finance, and with our Chief of Staff, and external parties such as grid operators, regulators, and advisors. You are the one who keeps track, follows up, asks questions, and pushes through. These processes are often complex and iterative: information is exchanged multiple times with grid operators and regulators, with waiting times possible. You ensure that files keep moving. You minimize downtime on our side and actively follow up when external parties are involved.

This is not a coordinating "meeting role." This is a role for someone who takes responsibility, sets the pace, and ensures that things are truly completed.

What will you do

• Coordinate and guide BRP, BSP, and other market admission processes, due diligence, and qualification processes with grid operators and regulators

• Actively follow up and pursue outstanding questions with, among others, grid operators and regulators

• Monitor progress, lead times, and deadlines of applications and registrations

• Bring structure to documentation, requirements, and external communication

• Continuously improve and expedite the qualification process for future market introductions

What do you bring

• +3 years of experience in project management, preferably within energy, infrastructure, or regulated environments

• Experience in a fast-growing company and/or with markets such as FCR, aFRR, is a plus

• Strong stakeholder management, you are not afraid to actively pursue answers from parties

• High level of ownership and execution power

• You work in a structured and precise manner but never lose sight of progress and speed

• Good communication skills in Dutch and English

Eddy Grid accelerates the energy transition by intelligently controlling batteries, solar parks, and wind parks. This way, we keep the energy grid in balance and make sustainable energy available and affordable. Currently, we are active in the Netherlands and Belgium with ~50 colleagues. We aim to at least double the team next year and expand to other European countries in the meantime.
