Chief Financial Officer

As CFO at Eddy Grid you play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy during a period of rapid scaling. You take ownership of our core financial operations, ensuring reliable reporting and financial accountability across the organization. You are the strategic sparring partner for the management team, guiding with clear financial insights on our business and products.  In addition you drive the next phase of growth. This includes any potential investment and funding strategies, development of financial products, structuring of debt and equity and building scalable financial frameworks for international expansion. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead and further professionalize the finance, control and accounting function

• Ensure accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting

• Safeguard financial governance, risk management and legal/ compliance oversight 

• Act as sparring partner  for MT, providing insights that support strategic and operational decisions 

• Own budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning.

• Shape and executing funding strategies (equity, debt) supporting long-term growth

• Lead investor relations and fundraising processes

• Build scalable financial structures to enable international expansion 

• Ensure compliance with foreign tax, legal, and financial regulations when entering new markets 

What are we looking for:

Must haves

• Proven experience as CFO or senior Finance leader in a fast-growing or international scale-up environment

• Strong foundation in financial operations,  accounting, governance, risk management and compliance

• Demonstrated experience in financial products, structured finance, or related financial instruments

• Solid track record in fundraising, debt/equity structuring, and investor relations 

• Strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution capability 

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Strong analytical abilities, able to translate data into actionable insights 

Nice to haves

• Experience in energy or technology sector

• Prior involvement in international expansion, especially in highly regulated markets 

• Experience scaling financial processes internationally
