Business Development Manager Belgium (Flanders)

Eddy Grid is growing. After our successful development in the Netherlands, we are now taking the next step: building and rolling out our commercial activities in Flanders. For this reason, we are looking for a Business Development Manager for Belgium. Someone who is entrepreneurial, pragmatic, and energized by opening new markets and closing deals.

Your role

As Business Development Manager for Belgium, you will be responsible for establishing, expanding, and professionalizing our commercial activities in Flanders. You will realize and convert a pipeline of (large) deals, both for our smart optimization of flexible assets such as solar, wind, and energy storage, and for energy supply. You will build relationships with (new) partners, thus strengthening our market position. You will work closely with the team in the Netherlands.

What are you going to do?

• Identifying and approaching potential customers (B2B)

• Concluding contracts for energy supply and flexibility services

• Building and maintaining a local network of partners

• Identifying market developments in Belgium and translating these into opportunities

• Reporting on commercial performance and making adjustments where necessary

What do you bring to the table?

• 5+ years of experience in B2B sales in Belgium/Flanders

• Experience in the energy sector is a pre

• Demonstrable experience in expanding commercial activities

• You are analytically strong, strategic, and commercially astute

• Customer-driven: you can explain complex matters simply and genuinely want to create value for our customers

• You have strong communication skills in both Dutch and English

• You are pragmatic and hands-on; you get things done

About Eddy Grid

Eddy Grid accelerates the energy transition by intelligently managing batteries, solar farms, and wind farms. This way, we keep the energy grid balanced and make sustainable energy available and affordable. We currently have approximately 50 colleagues working in the Netherlands and Belgium. We aim to at least double our team size in the coming year and expand to other European countries in the meantime.
